Association to Dua Lipa[]
Dua Lipa and Charli XCX are known to have been friends since 2016.[1]
On 21 February 2018, a live performance of Lipa's single "IDGAF" was uploaded to the official BBC Radio 1 YouTube channel. In the video, Lipa is seen performing alongside Charli, Zara Larsson, MØ, & Alma.
In 2020, Dua and Charli (as well as other celebrities) signed an open letter to the government calling for a ban on conversion therapy (medically rejected harmful therapies used against people in the LGBTQ+ community to try to convert them).
In 2024, Dua referred to Charli as one of the fellow artists she's remained close with over the years in a non-celebrity fashion.[2] That same year, Dua provided a few voice notes for the intro and outro of Charli's remix single with Troye Sivan, "Talk Talk featuring Troye Sivan".
On 21 June 2025, Dua brought out Charli as a special guest on her Radical Optimism Tour’s second night at Wembley Stadium. The two performed XCX’s ‘360’ as the cover for that night.
