“What The People Say“ is an unreleased song by Dua Lipa which is an outtake from her second studio album "Future Nostalgia" (known originally at the time as "Glass House"), but was ultimately scrapped.
Background[]
It was recorded in 2018 for an early concept version of the album and was the first song recorded for the project. The song was written by Rick Nowels, Dayyon Alexander, Madison Love and was produced by John Feldman. Two versions of the song leaked with the original files that reads "DUA_LIPA_WHAT_THE_PEOPLE_SAY_JF038" which indicates it's the first version of the song and ""DUA_LIPA_WHAT_THE_PEOPLE_SAY_JF051_v_voc_up1dB" which indicates it's the second version of the song. These two versions of the song was leaked in full on November 4th, 2024.
